Excalibur Boutique Hotel offers guests a choice of 10 beautifully decorated bedrooms, all located on the second floor. Our rooms are uniquely decorated with handmade décor items, and furnished with king-size or queen-size beds. All rooms are air-conditioned and offer ensuite bathrooms with a shower or a bath or a combination of both.
Excalibur Boutique Hotel is the only 4-star graded boutique hotel in North West, graded by the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa. Our rooms are equipped with a TV with Netflix & YouTube access, as well as Wi-Fi access all rooms also offer a balcony.
Avalon Restaurant Transforms medieval recipes into products that tickle twenty-first century taste buds, this is an exciting challenge, and this is where the fusion between past and present really happens. The Avalon Restaurant combines modern technology with medieval flavours to create a surprisingly happy pairing. Medieval food was seasonal, sustainable, and often dairy-free. What’s not to love!

The King & Queen suites are double story with a living room downstairs & bedroom upstairs built in the 2 front towers of Excalibur Castle.
The Royal Suites are double story with a living room downstairs & bedroom upstairs built in the 2 back towers of Excalibur Castle.
Recreating medieval dishes is an adventure. Medieval cookbooks only detail the food of the elite, and it’s unlikely that any were written by the cooks themselves! Like incomplete puzzles, the recipes rarely mention quantities, or temperatures, and give few instructions. We have sensitively reconstructed, with a dose of creative license, truly unique and tantalising dishes to transport your culinary senses on a true journey of discovery.
